Göteborg Ladies Open
The Göteborg Ladies Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour and the LET Access Series held in Gothenburg, Sweden. The tournament was played intermittently between 1985 and 2014, always at Delsjö Golf Club except in 1989 when it was held at Isaberg Golf Club. In 1985, 1988 and 1989 it was included on the Ladies European Tour schedule. The 2013 edition was hosted by Karin Sjödin and Linda Wessberg, two former LPGA Tour players that grew up playing at Delsjö Golf Club. In 2022 the tournament returned, with venue changed to Kungsbacka Golf Club. Gothenburg
Gothenburg (; abbreviated Gbg; sv, Göteborg ) is the second-largest city in Sweden, fifth-largest in the Nordic countries, and capital of the Västra Götaland County. 2022 LET Access Series
The 2022 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2022 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The season sees the introduction of the LETAS Grand Final, a season finale featuring the top 50 players in the Order of Merit, boasting the biggest prize fund in LETAS history with €80,000. Anna-Carin Jonasson
Anna-Carin Jonasson (born 19 November 1971) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. In 1994 she won the Spanish Ladies Amateur and a bronze medal at the Espirito Santo Trophy. She played on the Ladies European Tour and the Ladies Asian Golf Tour between 1995 and 1998. Amateur career Jonasson had a successful amateur career and won the Finnish Ladies Open Amateur Championship in 1988 and was a semi-finalist at the 1992 SM Match Play. In 1994, she won the German Ladies Open Amateur Championship and the Spanish International Ladies Amateur Championship. She represented the Continent of Europe at the 1993 Vagliano Trophy and finished 4th representing Sweden at the 1993 European Ladies' Team Championship. Lynnette Brooky
Lynnette Teresa Brooky (born 25 January 1968) is a New Zealand professional golfer. She turned professional in 1994 and has spent her career playing mainly on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She has won four LET tournaments including back to back French Opens, one Telia Tour event in Sweden and a further four in Australia. Her best finish on the LET Order of Merit through 2005 was fifth in 2003. She represented New Zealand in the 2005 and 2007 Women's World Cup of Golf. With career earnings now approaching €1 million, she has placed in the top-20 seven times on the LET Order of Merit and has also amassed a further 56 top-10 finishes worldwide. The 1998 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the Telia Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 13th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden and Finland. The tour extended to Finland for the first time with the inaugural Felix Finnish Ladies Open held at Aura Golf in Turku. Lina Boqvist
Lina Boqvist (born 25 May 1991) is a Swedish professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour. In 2021 she won the Aramco Team Series – New York teamed with Jessica Korda and Karolin Lampert. She was runner-up at the 2019 Lalla Meryem Cup. Career Boqvist was born in 1991 in Gislaved, Småland, and learned the game at Isaberg Golf Club, home to the Gisvaled Ladies Open on the 1989 Ladies European Tour. As a junior, she collected multiple titles on the Skandia Tour and the Junior Masters Invitational series. Boqvist turned professional ahead of the 2011 season and joined the Swedish Golf Tour, where she won the 2012 Swedish Matchplay Championship. Emma Westin
Emma Westin (born 23 Juli 1991) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour. In 2014 she won the LET Access Series Order of Merit and became the first player to win three LETAS tournaments in a single season, and first to win back to back titles. Career Westin grew up in Borås and began playing at the age of seven. She was accepted to the Scandinavian School of Golf at Halmstad University in 2011, and turned pro the following year. She played on the Swedish Golf Tour between 2011 and 2013. In 2014 Westin joined the LET Access Series where she found immediate success, winning the Sölvesborg Ladies Open in Sweden, the HLR Golf Academy Open in Finland, where she won by a record breaking 11 shots, and the following week claimed her third win at the Mineks & Regnum Ladies Classic in Turkey.
