Gypsy Teens was a famous Spanish boy/girl music band formed in 2000 out of a big casting competition and that was signed to Universal Music Spain S.L. The band toured having gained support from the label and also enjoyed international, mainly European exposure through their hit releases. Javi Mota (born Javier Mota Garcia; 28 May 1984, in Motril, Granada, Spain) is a Spanish singer, actor, dancer and model. Early life Javi Mota started taking dance and music classes at a very young age. At the age of 12, he landed a role in ''Menudo Show'' television series and two years later in the program ''Veo Veo''. In 1999, at age of 15, he became a radio announcer on "La Mañana", a youth music program. Club Tropicana
"Club Tropicana" is a song by English pop duo Wham!, released in 1983 on Innervision Records. It was written by members George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. History "Club Tropicana" was written in 1981 in Ridgeley's living room, before the band or bandname had been fully established, and was the second Wham! song they came up with after the initial "Wham Rap!". Although only half finished at the time of recording, it became one of the three home demos hastily made on a hired porta-studio which led to their first record contract with Innervision Records. The initial song inspiration came from their excitement over the glamour and escapism of the then burgeoning New Romantic club scene, and George, Andrew and Shirlie's occasional visits to one such club in London, Le Beat Route. Bamboléo
"Bamboléo" is a 1987 Spanish language song by Gitano-French band Gipsy Kings, from their eponymous album. The song was written by band members Tonino Baliardo, Chico Bouchikhi (J. Bouchikhi) and Nicolas Reyes. It was arranged by Dominique Perrier. "Bamboleo" could be translated as "wobble" "swing" or "dangle" in Spanish. The now iconic song has been a worldwide hit for the Gipsy Kings and has since been covered by many artists, both in Spanish and in other languages. Origin The word ''bamboleo'' means "wobble" "sway" or "dangle" in Spanish. The song's refrain says: "''bamboleo, bambolea, porque mi vida yo la prefier* vivir así''", which translates to: "Swaying, swaying, because I prefer to live my life this way." VIVA (abbreviation for: translating to "Video Exploitation Facility") was a German free-to-air music television channel, first broadcast on 1 December 1993. The channel was intended to compete against MTV Europe and was the first German-language music TV channel, while MTV was only broadcast in English until the introduction of MTV Germany in 1997. It was also supposed to focus more on German music and pop culture while MTV only broadcast anglophone music by artists mostly from North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia. After years of competition for audience share, MTV Networks Europe eventually acquired VIVA on 14 January 2005 after it had outrun its own efforts for better ratings. GIGA was the brand name of a digital TV channel (also known as GIGA Digital or GIGA TV) and several German television shows. The channel ceased operations in 2009. Banghra
Banghra is a Spanish pop group formed in 2007 with members Javi Mota, Lidia Guevara, and Victoria Gómez that tried to reintroduce belly dancing and Indian dance music to the mainstream in catchy songs sung in Spanish and English. The band was formed as a project of producer Sergio Medrano (who had produced Monjes budistas). The group disbanded in 2008 after just 2 albums in 2 years, namely ''La Danza del Vientre'' and ''...a bailar!'' and a number of successful singles, the biggest of which was "My Own Way". After split up of Banghra, Javi Mota and Lidia Guevara have both pursued solo music careers. ''La Voz (season 1)'' is a Spanish reality talent show that premiered on 19 September 2012 on Telecinco. Based on the reality singing competition ''The Voice of Holland'', the series was created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. It is part of an international series.
