Gymnastics At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's Artistic Team All-around
The final of the men's artistic gymnastics team all-around competition at the 2012 Olympic Games was held at the North Greenwich Arena on 30 July. Eight teams of five gymnasts competed, from a total of twelve teams that had qualified for the Games. The eight teams with the best combined scores in the qualification round moved on to the final. In the final, each team selected three gymnasts to compete on each apparatus. All scores were summed to give a final team score. China won the gold medal with a total score of 275.997. In second place with 271.952 points was Japan, and Great Britain took bronze with 271.711. However, the Japanese team filed an appeal, believing that he had been given the incorrect D-score for his dismount. The Men's artistic gymnastics team all-around (AA) competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was held on 8 August 2016 at the HSBC Arena. The medals were presented by Tsunekazu Takeda ( Japan), Ivo Ferriani (Italy) and Luis Alberto Moreno ( Colombia) and members of the International Olympic Committee. Gifts were presented by Bruno Grandi (President of the FIG), Michel Léglise (Vice President of the FIG) and Jani Tanskanen (President of the Athletes' Commission for the FIG). Competition format The top 8 teams in qualifications, based on combined scores of each apparatus, advanced to the final. In the final, each team selected three gymnasts to compete on each apparatus. Danell Leyva
Danell Johan Leyva (born October 30, 1991) is a Cuban-American former gymnast who competed for the United States. He is the 2012 Olympic individual all-around bronze medalist and 2016 Olympic parallel bars and horizontal bar silver medalist. He is also the 2011 US national all-around gold medalist and the 2011 world champion on the parallel bars. In gymnastics, Leyva was a specialist on parallel bars and horizontal bar, having his own signature move (jam-dislocate-hop to undergrips) on the latter. Jonathan Horton
Jonathan Alan Horton (born December 31, 1985) is a former American artistic gymnast. He is the 2008 Olympic silver medalist on high bar, the 2010 World all-around bronze medalist, a two-time Olympian, a two-time U.S. National All-Around Champion, and a 17-time medalist at the U.S. National Championships. At the 2008 Olympics, he also won a bronze medal with his U.S. teammates in the team competition. He also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where he qualified for the high bar event final and finished in sixth place. In 2016, he had surgery on his left rotator cuff and as a result was unable to qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Before 2005 Horton began gymnastics at the age of four in 1990. Jacob "Jake" Dalton (born August 19, 1991) is a retired American gymnast who was a member of the University of Oklahoma gymnastics team and the United States men's national gymnastics team. Oleg Vernyayev
Oleg Yuriyovych Vernyayev ( uk, Олег Юрійович Верняєв; born 29 September 1993) is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He is the 2016 Olympic parallel bars champion and individual all-around silver medalist. Nikolai Yulievich Kuksenkov (russian: Николай Юльевич Куксенков, uk, Микола Юлійович Куксенков; born 2 June 1989) is a retired Russian gymnast who won a silver medal in the team event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
