The men's artistic gymnastics individual all-around competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena on 28 July and 1 August 2012. It included 41 competitors from 27 nations. Kōhei Uchimura of Japan won the gold medal, his nation's first victory in the men's all-around since 1984 and its fifth overall. (At that point, Japan was second to the Soviet Union, whose gymnasts won the event six times; Uchimura would win again in 2016, bringing the two nations even.) Cyril Tommasone (born 4 July 1987 in Villeurbanne) is a French artistic gymnast. His strongest apparatus is the pommel horse and parallel bars. He is tall and weighs . Oleg Verniaiev
Oleg Yuriyovych Verniaiev ( uk, Олег Юрійович Верняєв; born 29 September 1993) is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He is the 2016 Olympic parallel bars champion and individual all-around silver medalist. Verniaiev is also the 2014 World parallel bars champion, the 2015 European individual all-around champion and the 2017 European individual all-around champion. Verniaiev tested positive for the banned substance meldonium in an out-of-competition test in August 2020. He received a four-year ban, starting in November 2020. Daniel Scott Purvis (born 13 November 1990 in Crosby, England) is a Scottish former international elite artistic gymnast, and three-time British all-around champion in men's artistic gymnastics. He trained at Southport YMCA and was coached by Jeff Brookes and Andrei Popov. He was part of the first British men's team to win a medal at a World Championships in 2015. Emin Nadirovich Garibov (russian: Эмин Надирович Гарибов; az, Emin Nadir oğlu Qəribov; born 8 September 1990 in Moscow) is a retired Russian artistic gymnast of Azerbaijani descent. Kristian James Thomas (born 14 February 1989 in Wolverhampton) is a British former artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast. A long-standing member of both the England and Great Britain men's teams, he was a member of the British team that won gold in the 2012 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2012 European Championships team event, and a historic bronze in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. John Orozco
John Orozco (born December 30, 1992) is an American artistic gymnast who competed in the 2012 Olympics and is the 2012 U.S national champion. He was selected to the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team for the 2016 Olympic Games, but withdrew on July 15, 2016 due to an ACL injury. After graduating High School at 17, John trained for 7 years at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
