''Gylne tider'' (first season: ''Gyldne tider'', in English language, English: ''Golden times'') is a Norwegian television series that has aired on TV 2 (Norway), TV2. The show has produced four seasons which premiered in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2010. Presenter Øyvind Mund, cameraman Steinar Marthinsen and sound engineer Ingar Thorsen travel to meet their childhood heroes. Television series The first season dealt with Swedish stars from film, television, sports and music who were big in Norway in the 1970s and 1980s. The first season premiered on 16 August 2002 and consisted of four episodes. Guests included Swedish icons Björn Borg, Björn Skifs, Ingemar Stenmark, Gunde Svan, Lill-Babs, Jan Boklöv, Joey Tempest, Lill Lindfors and Carola Häggkvist, Carola. TV 2 (Norway)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Norwegian terrestrial television channel. Its headquarters are located in Bergen. TV 2 began test broadcasting on 13 November 1991, and a year later, it was officially launched on 5 September 1992, becoming Norway's first commercial free-to-air television channel. Knutsen & Ludvigsen
Knutsen & Ludvigsen (English: Tootson and Ludiwood) was a Norwegian singing duo consisting of Øystein Dolmen ("Knutsen") and Gustav Lorentzen ("Ludvigsen"). Writing and performing various songs mostly aimed at children, they released seven albums, two of which received Spellemannprisen, the Norwegian Grammy. Oddvar Brå (born 16 March 1951) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier. He was among the best skiers in Norway, the three-times winner of the World Cup (1972–73, then named "World ranking", 1974–75 and 1978–79) and the winner of 16 national championships. His success in the major international championships was more modest. Trond Georg Kirkvaag (21 June 1946 – 16 November 2007) was a Norwegian comedian, actor, impressionist, screenwriter, author, director and television host. During his 39 years at the Norwegian TV network, NRK, he produced numerous comedy television series. Grete Waitz (, 1 October 195319 April 2011) was a Norwegian marathon runner and former world record holder. In 1979, at the New York City Marathon, she became the first woman in history to run the marathon in under two and a half hours. Waitz won nine New York City Marathons, women's division, between 1978 and 1988, the highest number of victories in a single big city marathon in history.
