Guðni Ólafur Guðnason
Guðni Ólafur Guðnason (born 14 December 1965) is an Icelandic former basketball player and coach who played 76 games for the Iceland men's national basketball team, Icelandic national team. In 1986 he was named the Icelandic Basketball Player of the Year. As a member of KR men's basketball, KR, he won the Úrvalsdeild karla (basketball), Icelandic championship once and the Icelandic Men's Basketball Cup, Icelandic Basketball Cup twice. Guard (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The Valur men's basketball team, commonly known as Valur, is a basketball team based in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is part of the Valur multi-sport club. History The club was founded as ''Gosi'' on 25 December 1951 and was one of the founding members of the Icelandic men's top division. ''DV'' (''Dagblaðið Vísir'') is an online newspaper in Iceland published by Torg ehf. It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged.
