Guyana Amazon Warriors (WCPL) Cricketers
The Guyana Amazon Warriors is a franchise cricket team of the Caribbean Premier League based in Providence, Georgetown, Guyana. The team is the representative cricket team of Guyana in the Caribbean Premier League. It was one of the six teams created in 2013 for the inaugural season of the tournament. The team plays its home games at Providence Stadium, located in Guyana and like the league's other franchises, draw the majority of its players from West Indian domestic teams. It has appeared in six CPL finals and eventually won its first tournament in 2023. Former Guyanese cricket legend Roger Harper was confirmed as the franchise's inaugural coach in early February 2015. Mohammad Imran Tahir ( pa, ; born 27 March 1979) is a South African former international cricketer. A spin bowling, spin Bowler (cricket), bowler who predominantly bowls googlies and a right-handed Batsman (cricket), batsman, Tahir played for South Africa national cricket team, South Africa in all three formats of cricket. Lasith Malinga
Separamadu Lasith Malinga ( si, සෙපරමාදු ලසිත් මාලිංග; born 28 August 1983), nicknamed "Slinga Malinga", is a Sri Lankan former cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest limited overs bowlers of all time. Malinga captained the Sri Lankan 2014 T20 World Cup winning side and is the only bowler to take 4 wickets in 4 balls twice in international cricket. Malinga is a right-arm fast bowler that is commonly used as a specialist death bowler, and is well known for his distinctive round-arm action, sometimes referred to as a sling action, hence his aforementioned nickname. 2015 Caribbean Premier League
The 2015 Caribbean Premier League or for sponsorship reasons, Hero CPL 2015 was the third season of the Caribbean Premier League, established by the West Indies Cricket Board. It began on 20 June and ended on 26 July. This season saw the introduction of a new team, the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots as a replacement for the defunct franchise Antigua Hawksbills. This season also saw Dwayne Bravo establish the record for taking the most number of wickets in a single season, with 28 wickets to his name in 13 matches with one 5-wicket and a couple of 4-wicket hauls. Jimmy Neesham
James Douglas Sheahan Neesham (born 17 September 1990), better known as Jimmy Neesham, is a New Zealand international cricketer who has played for New Zealand cricket team. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an All-rounder. Domestic and T20 franchise career Neesham began his first-class career with Auckland, but a move to Otago Volts worked well for him, as he made some important contributions in the 50-over format in the 2011/12 season, making three 40-plus scores in seven innings, all of them coming at more than a run a ball. He was among the wickets too, taking a career-best 5 for 44 against Wellington and 4 for 23 against Canterbury. Mohammad Hafeez
Mohammad Hafeez ( Punjabi and ur, ; born 17 October 1980) is a former Pakistani international cricketer. Hafeez was a versatile batsman who could bat anywhere in the top 6 and formed part of the bowling attack. He played as a spin bowling all-rounder for the majority of his career and, along with Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi, formed part of one of the best spin attacks in the 2010's . He retired from Test cricket after the third and final match against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi in December 2018, departing the ground for the final time in white clothing to a guard of honour from his teammates. Martin Guptill
Martin James Guptill (born 30 September 1986) is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays as an opening batsman in limited overs formats of the game. Guptill is the first cricketer from New Zealand and the fifth overall to have scored a double century in a One Day International match and holds the current record for the highest individual score in Cricket World Cup matches and the second highest score in One Day Internationals of 237 not out. Warner Park
Warner Park is a community park on the northeast side of Madison, Wisconsin near Lake Mendota. Warner Park is also the home to the Madison Mallards baseball team, a member of the Northwoods League. Its stadium, nicknamed the "Duck Pond", was built in 1982 and has a capacity of 6,750. It also hosts the Madison East High School and Madison La Follette High School baseball teams. The adjacent football field was formerly the home of the Madison Mustangs, a semi-professional football team that played in the Central States Football League in the 1960s and 1970s. Krishmar Santokie
Krishmar Santokie (born 20 December 1984) is a cricketer who plays for Jamaica and has represented the West Indies at international Twenty20 level. He bowls left-arm medium pace and is a lower order batsman. Domestic career He represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League in 2013. His slingy action & ability to deliver deceiving slower balls has made him an asset to T20 teams. Santokie spent a number of years playing in England for Farnham Royal cricket club where he used the English conditions to perfect his swing bowling technique which has continued with him into his international career.
