''Guerra de Titanes'' (2010) ("War of the Titans") was professional wrestling major show event produced by AAA, which took place on December 5, 2010, in the ''Auditorio Benito Juárez'' in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. The event was the fourteenth ''Guerra de Titanes'' show promoted by AAA since 1997 and was headlined by a match for the AAA Mega Championship between champion Dr. Wagner Jr. and challenger El Zorro. Antonio Peña Promotions, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. Lucha Libre
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. Mario González Lozano (born April 18, 1969) is a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler, who works as an ''exótico'' for the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA World Wide promotion and Lucha Underground under the ring name Pimpinela Escarlata. As Escarlata he is a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Mexican National Middleweight Champion and AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion. Octagoncito (born March 23, 1973) is a Mexican ''Luchador'' '' enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler who works for Lucha Libre AAA World Wide's (AAA) ''Mini-Estrella'' division. He is the second wrestler to work under the ring name Octagoncito, being given the name after the original Octagoncito left AAA, although he still wrestles under the name on the independent circuit. Octagoncito's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy" or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans, and acts as a protagonist to the heels, who are the villainous antagonist or "bad guy" characters. Traditionally, they wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating (in contrast to the villains who use illegal moves and call in additional wrestlers to do their work for them) while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects.
