Grzegorz Miecugow
Grzegorz Miecugow (22 November 1955 – 26 August 2017) was a Polish media personality of Armenian-Georgian descent. He had an extensive career as a journalist, newscaster, editor, and columnist. Career He was born on 22 November 1955 in Kraków, in the Polish People's Republic. He graduated from John III Sobieski High School No 2 in Kraków and later graduated in philosophy from the University of Warsaw. Between 1989 and 2001 he worked in Polish Radio Programme III. Miecugow was a news anchor on Wiadomości and Fakty TVN. In 2001 he hosted the first edition of the Polish version of Big Brother reality show. He was one of the principal founders of TVN24 – the first 24-hour television news channel in Poland launched on 9 August 2001. He regularly published his articles in ''Dziennik Polski'' newspaper and collaborated with ''Przekrój'' weekly magazine. Kraków

Przekrój
''Przekrój'' (; ''Cross-section'') was the oldest Polish weekly newsmagazine in operation, established in 1945 in Kraków. After temporary closure in 2013, it was bought by photographer Tomasz Niewiadomski and subsequently relaunched in December 2016 as a quarterly magazine. Przekrój's matchless literary style and lively visual charm were created due to the collaboration with the avant-garde of Polish intellectuals, writers, poets, artists and cartoonists. Przekrój was the birthplace of writers such as Wisława Szymborska, Stanisław Lem and Czesław Miłosz. Powązki Military Cemetery
Powązki Military Cemetery (; pl, Cmentarz Wojskowy na Powązkach) is an old military cemetery located in the Żoliborz district, western part of Warsaw, Poland. The cemetery is often confused with the older Powązki Cemetery, known colloquially as "Old Powązki". The Old Powązki cemetery is located to the south-east of the military cemetery. The military cemetery holds the graves of many who have fought and died for their country since the early 19th century, including a large number involved in the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, the September 1939 Campaign, and the ill-fated 1944 Warsaw Uprising against Nazi Germany. History It was founded in 1912 as an annex to the Catholic cemetery, but after Poland regained independence in 1918, it became the state cemetery, where some of the most notable people of the period were buried, regardless of their faith. Satire
Satire is a genre of the visual, literary, and performing arts, usually in the form of fiction and less frequently non-fiction, in which vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, often with the intent of shaming or exposing the perceived flaws of individuals, corporations, government, or society itself into improvement. ''Szkło kontaktowe'' (English: ''Contact Lens'') is a Polish satirist program shown seven times a week, twice a day on TVN 24. ''Szkło kontaktowe'' launched on 25 January 2005. It is hosted by Grzegorz Miecugow (deceased in August 2017), Tomasz Sianecki, Wojciech Zimiński and Grzegorz Markowski. Stanisław Tym (born 17 July 1937 in Małkinia) is a Polish, actor, comedian, journalist and satirist, as well as a film and theatre director and writer. He coproduced and starred in many films of Stanisław Bareja, he gained much fame for his performance in the cult film of Marek Piwowski, ''Rejs'' (''The Cruise''). In 1990s he was a columnist of a popular Polish news magazine, Wprost, later for a newspaper Rzeczpospolita and since 2007 for Polityka.
