David Grosso (born September 18, 1970) is an American attorney and politician. He is a former at-large member of the Council of the District of Columbia who lives in Brookland. A native Washingtonian, he graduated from Earlham College and Georgetown University Law Center. Grosso is a member of the D.C. Bar. Following the completion of his second term on the D.C. Council, he joined the law firm Arent Fox as a lobbyist. Early life Grosso was born in Washington, D.C. During his childhood, he lived on a farm in Northern Virginia. Fabio Grosso (; born 28 November 1977) is an Italian former professional footballer and current manager of Frosinone Calcio. After playing for several smaller Italian clubs, such as Renato Curi, Chieti and Perugia, he made his breakthrough during his two seasons with Palermo, which earned him a move to defending Serie A champions Inter Milan in 2006. During his only season with Inter, he helped the club defend the Serie A title and win the Supercoppa Italiana. He later also won titles with Lyon in France and with Juventus. Jeff Blaine Grosso (April 28, 1968 – March 31, 2020) was an American professional skateboarder, skate documentarian, and web series host from Arcadia, California. Skateboarding Grosso started skateboarding at the age of 5. He broke onto the skateboarding scene at a young age, turning pro at the age of 12. In 1982, at the age of 14, the shoe and apparel company Vans began sponsoring Grosso. A personal and professional relationship that continued into 2020 with Vans' sponsoring Grosso's popular YouTube show "Love Letters to Skateboarding". Ramón Moreno Grosso (8 December 1943 – 13 February 2002) was a Spanish football forward and manager. He spent 12 La Liga seasons with Real Madrid, appearing in 366 competitive matches (75 goals scored) and winning 11 major titles, including the 1966 European Cup. Salvatore Anthony Grosso (July 21, 1930 – January 22, 2020), known as Sonny Grosso, was an American film producer, television producer, and NYPD detective, noted for his role in the case made famous in the book and film versions of the ''French Connection''. ''The French Connection'' Grosso, his partner Eddie Egan, and other NYPD detectives broke up an organized crime ring in 1961 and seized 112 lb of heroin, a record amount at the time. The investigation was the subject of a book by Robin Moore and subsequent Academy Award-winning film, '' The French Connection'', which won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Film Editing, and Best Writing in 1971.
