Dan Griffiths (rugby Union, Born 1979)
Daniel Phillip Griffiths (born 1 February 1979) in Carmarthen, Wales is a rugby union player for Bridgend Ravens. He previously played for Whitland RFC and Aviron Bayonnais. He then played over 150 games for Newport RFC and became the highest all time points scorer for the club in February 2008 at Maesteg. In doing so, he beat Paul Turner's record which had stood since 1992. He has also appeared twice for the Newport Gwent Dragons, coming on as a replacement against Munster and the Ospreys in 2005. Charles Griffiths (politician)
Charles Edward Griffiths (26 June 1903 – 17 May 1982) was an Australian politician. Born in Jesmond, New South Wales, he attended public schools and became a railwayman with New South Wales Railways, rising to become an official in the Australian Railways Union. He was appointed to the Australian Labor Party's New South Wales Executive before his election to the Australian House of Representatives in 1949 as the member for the new seat of Shortland. Elly Griffiths is the pen name of Domenica de Rosa (born 17 August 1963, in London), a British crime novelist. She has written three series as Griffiths, one featuring Ruth Galloway, one featuring Detective Inspector Edgar Stephens and Max Mephisto, and the Harbinder Kaur series. Early life After reading English at King's College London, Griffiths worked in publishing for many years. Writing career Griffiths' first series features as a main character forensic archaeologist Ruth Galloway, who lives in a remote seaside cottage near King's Lynn in Norfolk and teaches at the University of North Norfolk. Eliezer Griffiths
Eliezer Griffiths (3 February 1827 – 21 April 1920) was a Welsh Congregationalist minister with a significant career in Australia and America, where he died. History Griffiths was born in Lampeter, Ceredigion, Wales, a son of Rev. G. Griffiths, minister of Mynydd Seion, Newport, Wales and his wife Maria Griffiths (c. 1794 – 18 December 1866). He was educated at New College and served the church at Tenby, Wales for twelve years, then moved to Australia. He served from 1861 to 1865 at Port Denison, Queensland, where he served in several different churches, including the Church of England. He may have served briefly at Bowen, Queensland, but in 1866 moved to South Australia to take over the Clayton Congregational Church in Kensington, South Australia, recently vacated by William Harcus. Derek Griffiths (born 15 July 1946) is a British actor, singer, and voice artist who appeared in numerous British children's television series in the 1960s to present and has more recently played parts in television drama. Career Griffiths was known in his early years for his '' Play School'' appearances alongside the likes of Chloe Ashcroft, Johnny Ball and Brian Cant.
