Greg Pearce (news Presenter)
Greg Pearce is an Australian journalist. Career Originally a booth announcer with the ABC, Pearce became best known as presenter of the ''Ten News'' bulletin for Perth, prior to that he had been a short term news presenter for ''Seven News'' in Melbourne and had a short stint with Nine. Originally produced locally in Perth, the 5pm news production was moved to Sydney as Network Ten claimed the upgrade of the Perth studios was too expensive at the time. Pearce continued to present Perth's news, from Sydney, with Christina Morrisey and later Celina Edmonds. He also often filled in for Sandra Sully on '' Ten Late News''. After 15 years as the presenter for '' Ten News Perth'', Pearce cited family reasons and resigned from Ten to return full-time to Western Australia. Australian Broadcasting Corporation
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is the national broadcaster of Australia. ''A Current Affair'' (or ''ACA'') is an Australian current affairs program airing weeknights and Saturday nights on the Nine Network. The program is currently hosted by Allison Langdon (Monday–Thursday) and Deborah Knight (Friday and Saturday). History 1970s ''A Current Affair'' was first broadcast on 22 November 1971, with Mike Willesee, screening weeknights at 7:00 p.m., and was broadcast for GTV-9. For part of its early run, the comedian and actor Paul Hogan had a comic social commentary segment. Under Willesee, ACA was a Transmedia production for the Nine Network. Jennifer Anne Keyte (born 21 January 1960) is an Australian journalist and news presenter. Keyte currently presents the Melbourne and Adelaide editions of ''10 News First''. She was previously a weekend news presenter on ''Seven News'' in Melbourne. Mal Walden
Mal Walden is a former English-born Australian retired journalist and television news presenter based in Melbourne. On his retirement, he was reported to be the longest continually serving face on Australian television with a media career spanning six decades. Walden was the main presenter of the Seven Network Melbourne program ''Seven National News'' from 1978 to 1987 and the Ten Network program ''Ten Eyewitness News'' from 1987 until 2013. Walden was farewelled at State Parliament hosted by Premier Denis Napthine and awarded a lifetime achievement quill by the Melbourne Press Club. Sonia Vinci (born 1971) is a former journalist and co-anchor of ''Nine News'' in Perth. She began a journalist in 1990 at Perth radio 6PR and later became Australia's youngest female news director. During her time at 6PR, Sonia also worked at Channel Seven Perth as a weekend journalist for Seven News, and also read sports news for Seven's Footy Show in 1994. Dixie Marshall (born March 1963) is a Western Australian former television news presenter and, from 2011 to 2017, was the media relations director, and then director of communications, strategic communications director, for Colin Barnett, the Premier of Western Australia. Career Marshall joined the Nine Network in Perth in 1984 as a cadet reporter.
