Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. The band experienced several short-term lineup changes in the 1990s and 2000s; these included the introduction of vocalist John Corabi (who was Neil's replacement from 1992 to 1996) and drummers Randy Castillo and Samantha Maloney, both of whom filled in for Lee following his departure from Mötley Crüe in 1999; he returned to the band in 2004. The album artwork was inspired by the cover of Bruce Dickinson's album ''Tattooed Millionaire'', whose title track is said to be about Dickinson's wife cheating on him with bassist Nikki Sixx, as revealed in Mötley Crüe's biography '' The Dirt''. Background The original line up of Mötley Crüe, which consisted of singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars, had reunited for the '' Generation Swine'' album and tour in 1997, mainly out of pressure from their management and record company. "Girls, Girls, Girls" is a single by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. It is the first single from the album of the same name, and was released on May 11, 1987. Music video Filmed on the night of April 13, 1987, Mötley Crüe shot their video for "Girls, Girls, Girls" with director Wayne Isham. With a strip club theme planned for the video, they originally wanted to use The Body Shop, but since that venue is all-nude and does not serve alcohol, they ended up shooting it at The Seventh Veil. Home Sweet Home (Mötley Crüe Song)
"Home Sweet Home" is a power ballad by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. It was originally released in 1985 on the album ''Theatre of Pain'', and again in 1991 for the ''Decade of Decadence 81-91'' compilation album. It has been covered by several artists, most notably country singer Carrie Underwood, who released her version as a single in 2009. Release Originally released on the band's 1985 album, ''Theatre of Pain'', the song was accompanied by a music video which documented the band's undertakings over the course of one or several concerts. Some of the original video was shot in Houston, Texas live at The Summit during the 1985 Theatre of Pain tour. They performed the song twice that night apparently to get more video footage. "Home Sweet Home" was released and remixed twice: once for the original promotion for the single in 1985. A radio only promo 12" with the remix was sent to stations, but not released commercially until the 1988 Japan-only EP '' Raw Tracks.'' ...
