The Grange Academy is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in Bushey in the English county of Hertfordshire. History The school descends from a technical school in Watford, while the site it now occupies was originally a private junior boarding school. its School of Art, Science and Commerce in 1922, and establishing a Junior Technical School in the old public library building on Queen's Road in 1929. In the following year, these were brought together in the Watford Technical School, with an annexe to the old library building opened by Lord Eustace Percy, an advocate of technical education. Inspectors praised the school in 1934 for its high employment rate among the skilled trades. It became a prestigious selective school, though behind Watford Grammar School for Boys and Watford Grammar School for Girls. Grange Academy (formerly Grange School) is a coeducational special school located in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England. The school accepts pupils between the ages of 5 and 16 years with Moderate Learning Difficulties from all over the Borough of Bedford. The school is currently organised into two departments: * The Primary Department covering Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (ages 5 – 11) * The Secondary Department covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (ages 11 – 16) In October 2009, Bedford Borough Council launched a consultation on the future of special education provision in the borough. Grange Academy (Scottish Gaelic: ''Acadamaidh Grange'') is a non-denominational secondary school based in Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire, Scotland. It serves the Bonnyton and town centre areas of the town, with the associated primaries being Crosshouse Primary, Annanhill Primary, Hillhead Primary, Gargieston Primary and Shortlees Primary. The current school estate was constructed in 2007, with the new campus, Grange Campus, opening in 2008 which also houses Annanhill Primary School and Park School. The current Head Teacher, Scott Robertson, took up post in March 2022 following the retirement of Robert Johnston. Scott Robertson is also the head of the wider Grange Campus. The Grange Academy is a coeducational academy school in Runcorn, Cheshire. It is an all-through school providing primary and secondary education for pupils aged 3 to 16. Formerly The Grange Comprehensive School, in June 2007 plans were announced for the school to close and to merge with The Heath School in 2012. However, the Education & Skills Select Committee raised objections to the proposal and it was decided that the school would join the adjacent Grange Nursery School, The Grange Infant School and The Grange Junior School to be an all-through school to be named The Grange School. Following improved examination results in 2008, the plan to merge with The Heath School was cancelled and the school became all-through in September 2010.
