Grand Slam (UK Game Show)
Grand Slam is a television quiz show first created for Britain's Channel 4 in 2003. In its first and only series in the UK, the main host was Carol Vorderman. She was joined in the studio by analyst James Richardson. The off-camera "Questioner" was Nicholas Rowe. The contestants taking part, all of them previous quiz show winners, were: Dee Voce, Geoff Owen, Olav Bjortomt, David Edwards, Mark Labbett, Clive Spate, Melanie Beaumont, Peter Lee, Gavin Fuller, David Stainer, Graham Nash, Michael Penrice, Michelle Hogan, Laura Richardson, Said Khan, and Duncan Bickley (who lost £218,000 on an episode of ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'' in 2000). Each contestant paid £1000 to enter, which made up part of the prize fund (hence the title, which has a double meaning referring both to the sporting concept of a "grand slam" and to the entrance fee). Michael Davies (television Producer)
Michael Davies (born 3 March 1966) is a United States-based British television game shows producer. He is best known for bringing the game show ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'' to American television. Since 2014, he has hosted a podcast entitled ''Men in Blazers'' alongside journalist Roger Bennett. Since 2021, he has served as the executive producer of the game show ''Jeopardy!'' following Mike Richards departure from the program after various controversies came to light. Ogi Ogas
Ogi Ogas is an American writer who received doctoral training as a computational neuroscientist. As of May 2016, he is a visiting scholar at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he serves as Project Head for the Individual Mastery Project. Ogas is also known for his participation in game shows, especially ''Grand Slam'' (2007) and ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'' (2006).
