''Graciela'' is a 1956 Argentine film directed by Leopoldo Torre Nilsson, which earned its Chilean star, Lautaro Murúa, the 1957 Silver Condor Award for Best Actor. It was Murúa' debut film in Argentina and his first principal role, which he played opposite, Elsa Daniel. Leopoldo Torre Nilsson
Leopoldo Torre Nilsson (5 May 1924 – 8 September 1978), also known as Leo Towers and as Babsy, was an Argentine film director, producer and screenwriter. Born as Leopoldo Torres Nilsson (he later changed his paternal surname from Torres to Torre) was the son of Argentine pioneer film director Leopoldo Torres Ríos, with whom he collaborated between 1939 and 1949. He debuted in 1947 with the short ''El muro''. His mother was an Argentinian citizen of Swedish descent. His uncle was cinematographer Carlos Torres Ríos (1898–1956). Torre Nilsson's first full-length film, ''El crimen de Oribe'' (1950), was an adaptation of Adolfo Bioy Casares's novel ''El perjurio de la nieve''. In 1954 he directed ''Días de odio'', based on Jorge Luis Borges's short story ''Emma Zunz''. Alejandro Rey (February 8, 1930 – May 21, 1987) was an Argentine-American actor and television director. Career Early work Rey was born in Buenos Aires and studied acting under Hedwig Schlichter and Milagros de la Vega. He became known as an actor in Argentine movies. In 1957, he participated in the film ''El Diablo de vacaciones'', directed by Ferruccio Cerio, with Nelly Panizza and Ana María Cassan, embarking on the ship ''Yapeyu'' to travel around the world, but filming did not conclude. Alita Blanca Barchigia (24 August 1912 – 15 April 1989), better known as Alita Román, was an Argentine film actress of the Golden Age of Argentine Cinema (1940–1960).
