Grace Reformed Church (Grace United Church of Christ - Akron, Ohio) was a historic church at 172 W. Bowery Street in Akron, Ohio. It was built in 1926 and added to the National Register in 1984. The property was purchased by Akron Children's Hospital and the building demolished in 2016. Akron () is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Summit County, Ohio, Summit County. It is located on the western edge of the Glaciated Allegheny Plateau, about south of downtown Cleveland. As of the 2020 Census, the city proper had a total population of 190,469, making it the 125th largest city in the United States. Romanesque architecture is an architectural style of medieval Europe characterized by semi-circular arches. There is no consensus for the beginning date of the Romanesque style, with proposals ranging from the 6th to the 11th century, this later date being the most commonly held.
