''Govindaya Namaha'' ( ''Hail Govinda'') is a 2012 Indian Kannada language comedy drama film directed by debutante Pawan Wadeyar. The film was released on 30 March 2012 across cinema halls. It stars Komal Kumar, Anna Georgia, Madhulika, Rekha Vedavyas and Parul Yadav in the lead roles. The music is composed by Gurukiran. This film is remade as '' Potugadu'' in Telugu. The movie was accused to be a copy of 2006 Kannada movie ''Avnandre Avne''. However Karnataka Film Directors Association writer's wing set aside the allegations as far from truth. Music of this film has been received well and the song Pyarge Aagbittaite written by Pawan in Kannada and Urdu language mixture recorded an amazing hit in YouTube by hitting more than 1500000 views in less than a week of its release. Pavan Wadeyar (born 10 December 1987) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, lyricist, actor and producer best known for his work in Kannada cinema. He is known for writing and directing ''Govindaya Namaha'' (2012), for which he won the SIIMA award for the Best Debut Director. Career Wadeyar began his career by working as an assistant director to Yogaraj Bhat in ''Pancharangi'' (2010). Jayanth Kaikini (born 24 January 1955) is a poet, short story writer, playwright, columnist in Kannada and a lyricist in Kannada Cinema. He has so far published six anthologies of short stories, four books of poetry, three plays and a collection of essays. Komal Kumar (born 4 July 1973), known mononymously as Komal, is an Indian actor and film producer known for his work in Kannada cinema. He made his acting debut with ''Super Nan Maga'' in 1992.
