The Regional Government of Veneto (''Giunta Regionale del Veneto'') is the executive of Veneto, one of the twenty regions of Italy. The Italian Democratic Socialist Party (, PSDI), also known as Italian Social Democratic Party, was a minor social-democratic political party in Italy. Franco Frigo (born 13 August 1950, in Cittadella) is an Italian politician from Veneto. A long-time Christian Democrat, he was President of the Province of Padua from 1985 to 1990. He was first elected to the Regional Council of Veneto in 1990 and in the midst of the ''Tangentopoli'' scandals he was briefly President of Veneto (1992–1993).
