Alex Goode
Alexander David Goode (born 7 May 1988) is an English professional rugby union player playing for Saracens in Premiership Rugby. Biography All-rounder Goode appeared at the national schools athletics finals, played county tennis and was part of the Ipswich Town football academy before joining Saracens. He is the nephew of Jo Goode, who won an Olympic bronze in Badminton in Sydney. A fly half by trade, he moved to full back and has played the majority of his games for Saracens in these positions. He was educated at St Faith's School, The Leys School and Oakham School, and at the University of Hertfordshire. Club career He joined the academy structure at Saracens ahead of the 2006–2007 season, and made his club debut against Bristol. He has since signed several contract extensions. Mary Goode
Mary Goode (born 15 May 1979) is a former Ireland women's field hockey international. She has also played senior club field hockey for Pembroke Wanderers and Hermes. Domestic teams Goode was a Pembroke Wanderers player when she made her senior Ireland debut. During the 2005–06 season Goode played for Cork Harlequins after moving to Cork for work. In 2006–07 she re-joined Pembroke Wanderers. Together with Natalie Fulton, she was a member of the Wanderers women's team that lost 1–0 to Pegasus in the Irish Senior Cup final. In the final Goode saved from six penalty corners. In 2008 she was a member of the Wanderers team that were runners up in the European Cup Winners Cup. Malvin (Mal) Russell Goode (February 13, 1908 – September 12, 1995) was an African-American television journalist and news correspondent. Education and early work Goode was born in White Plains, Virginia, educated in the public school system of Homestead, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1931. Starting in high school, he was employed for twelve years as a laborer in steel mills, until five years after his graduation. Appointed to a position in the Juvenile Court as a boys work director at the Centre Avenue YMCA, he spearheaded the fight against discrimination in the Pittsburgh branches of the YMCA. Goode worked with the Pittsburgh Housing Authority for six years and joined the Pittsburgh Courier in 1948, where he remained for 14 years. John Paul Goode (21 November 1862 – 5 August 1932), a geographer and cartographer, was one of the key geographers in American geography’s Incipient Period from 1900 to 1940 (McMaster and McMaster 306). Goode was born in Stewartville, Minnesota on November 21, 1862. Goode received his bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota 1889 and his doctorate in economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1903. In 1901-1902, Goode was a member of the faculty at Eastern Illinois State Normal School (now Eastern Illinois University), where he taught physics and geography (Eastern Illinois University iv). John Goode Jr. (May 27, 1829 – July 14, 1909) was a Virginia attorney and Democratic politician. He served in both the United States Congress and the Confederate Congress, and was a colonel in the Confederate Army. He was Solicitor General of the United States during the presidency of Grover Cleveland. He was known as "the grand old man of Virginia." She represented Great Britain at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, and won the 2000 mixed doubles bronze medal with Simon Archer.
