Gombak LRT Station
Gombak (previously known as the Terminal PUTRA LRT station) is an LRT station in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the northern terminus for the RapidKL Kelana Jaya Line. There is a ticket counter for buses to Genting Highlands, with buses departing to the Genting Skyway station every half-hour. These buses belong to and are operated by Resorts World Berhad and therefore bear their logo on it. This station is normally utilised by residents of Kuala Lumpur, especially those living around Setapak area when they are going to Genting. The Gombak toll plaza, the beginning of the East Coast Expressway (LPT) , is one kilometre north from this station. Currently this station is the northernmost in the RapidKL rail transport network. A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS’s trains are usually 1-4 cars, or 1 light rail vehicle (LRV). Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light rail type vehicles. Setapak
Setapak is a mukim in Gombak District, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formerly a tin-mining and rubber estate area, in Malay ''tapak'' means 'step' so ''Setapak'' means 'one step', probably referring to the close proximity of the suburb to Kuala Lumpur. Batu Caves Komuter Station
Batu Caves Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter railway station formerly known as Batu Caves Railway station at Batu Caves, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. After redevelopment, the station was reopened in August 2010. The station was from 2010 the northern terminus for the KTM Komuter's Batu Caves–Port Klang Route until December 2015 when the Seremban Line routing was changed to terminate at this station instead of Rawang. Federal Route 68, also known as Jalan Gombak or Jalan Karak Lama, is a federal road in Malaysia that links the city of Kuala Lumpur to Bentong, Pahang. Before Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway E8/FT2 was built, the road was used to be a part of Kuala Lumpur–Kuantan Road FT2; however, due to its sharp corners, narrow roadway and lack of safety features, a replacement highway known as the Kuala Lumpur–Karak Highway FT2 (now Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway E8/FT2) was built, causing the former Kuala Lumpur–Bentong section to be re-gazetted as the Federal Route 68. The Ninth Malaysian Plan ( ms, Rancangan Malaysia ke-9), abbreviated as '9MP', is a comprehensive blueprint prepared by the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) of the Prime Minister's Department and the Finance Ministry of Malaysia with approval by the Cabinet of Malaysia. The plan allocates the national budget from 2006 to 2010 in regard to all economic sectors in Malaysia.
