''Golmaal'' (formerly ''Buddhuram Dhol Duniya Gol'') is a Bengali film directed by Narayan Roy starring Mithun Chakraborty along with Roopa Ganguly and Victor Banerjee. Plot In ''Golmaal'', Mithun Chakraborty plays the role of a cop named Buddhuram Dhol who is expected to solve all cases that comes to him. Roopa Ganguly plays his love interest who later marries Kunal Padhi. She plays the role of the mother of Katha who runs away from her home. Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun Chakraborty (born Gouranga Chakraborty; 16 June 1950) is an Indian actor, producer and politician who predominantly worked in Hindi and Bengali language films. He is a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. He is the recipient of three National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards for his acting performance. Chakraborty made his acting debut with the art house drama ''Mrigayaa'' (1976), for which he won his first National Film Award for Best Actor. Roopa Ganguly
Roopa Ganguly is an Indian actress, playback singer and politician. She is best known for her portrayal of Draupadi in B R Chopra's hit television series ''Mahabharat''. Often promoted as the Tollywood's answer to Bollywood's Shabana Azmi, she is known for her versatility and accent adaptation.
