Erich Goldmann
Erich Goldmann (born April 7, 1976) is a German former professional ice hockey defenceman. Goldmann was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 8th round (212th overall) in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He played one game in the National Hockey League for the team against the Nashville Predators. He did not register a point in his 9:44 of ice time. Most of his professional career was spent in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, most recently for the Iserlohn Roosters. He ended his playing career in the 2nd Bundesliga with a single season at EHC München. Goldmann played 126 international games for the German national team, including the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics. On 28 May 2011 he was inducted into the German Ice Hockey Hall of Fame. Friedrich Goldmann
Friedrich Goldmann (27 April 1941 – 24 July 2009) was a German composer and conductor. Life Born on 27 April 1941 in Siegmar-Schönau (since July 1951 incorporated into Chemnitz), Goldmann's music education began in 1951 when he joined the Dresdner Kreuzchor. At age 18, he received a scholarship by the city of Darmstadt to study composition with Karlheinz Stockhausen at the Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in 1959, who further encouraged him over the following years . He moved on to study composition at the Dresden Conservatory from 1959, taking his exam two years early in 1962. From 1962 until 1964 he attended a master class at the Academy of Arts, Berlin with Rudolph Wagner-Régeny. Around this time, he worked as a freelance music assistant at the Berliner Ensemble where he befriended other composers and writers, including Heiner Müller, Luigi Nono and Luca Lombardi. Hans Goldmann
Hans Goldmann (20 November 1899 in Komotau, Kingdom of Bohemia, Austro-Hungarian Empire – 19 November 1991 in Bern) was an Austrian-Swiss ophthalmologist and inventor. Biography Goldmann completed his Gymnasium education in Komotau (now known as Chomutov). At the urging of his father, from 1919 he studied medicine at the Charles University in Prague although he originally wanted to study astronomy. In 1923 he completed his studies and received his doctorate in medicine. From 1919 to 1924 he was an assistant to the physiologist Armin von Tschermak-Seysenegg at the Institute of Physiology of Charles University and was assistant to the ophthalmologist Anton Elschnig at the eye clinic of Charles University. Lucien Goldmann (; 20 July 1913 – 8 October 1970) was a French philosopher and sociologist of Jewish-Romanian origin. A professor at the EHESS in Paris, he was a Marxist theorist. Max Reinhardt (; born Maximilian Goldmann; 9 September 1873 – 30 October 1943) was an Austrian-born theatre and film director, intendant, and theatrical producer. With his innovative stage productions, he is regarded as one of the most prominent directors of German-language theatre in the early 20th century. Nahum Goldmann ( he, נחום גולדמן) (July 10, 1895 – August 29, 1982) was a leading Zionist. He was a founder of the World Jewish Congress and its president from 1951 to 1978, and was also president of the World Zionist Organization from 1956 to 1968. Ulrike Goldmann (born 17 June 1980) is a German singer and vocalist of the German electro-gothic band Blutengel since October 2005. Music career Ulrike Goldmann has a trained voice and has been singing her entire life. Her first band was an electro-pop duo called Say - Y, who signed to Chris Pohl's label, Fear Section in 2003 and released their album ''Refill'' later that year, the first one under a record label. Blutengel (german: Blood Angel) (stylized as BlutEngel) is a German electronic music group formed by singer Chris Pohl (also of the groups Terminal Choice, Tumor, and Miss Construction and the owner of the Fear Section label) after he had to leave Seelenkrank due to contractual and legal problems. The lyrics are written primarily in German and English and are presented with male and female vocals.
