Godkänd Pirat
''Godkänd pirat'' is the first live album and sixth overall album by Swedish pop and rock artist Magnus Uggla. It was released in 1981 as a double album on 45 RPM. The album was recorded and released to stop distribution of bootleg recordings from Uggla's concerts. This is also the reason why the album's title is ''Godkänd pirat'', which translates to English as ''Approved Pirate''. The last song on the album is a studio track, a re-recording of Uggla's 1976 single "Sommartid". The new version was also released as a single in 1981. Magnus Uggla
Per Allan Magnus Claësson Uggla (pronounced ; born 18 June 1954) is a Swedish artist, composer, actor, and occasional radio host. He is known for his satire, satirical lyrics. Uggla was born in Stockholm. He was the lead singer of the hard rock band JUSO (later renamed Alexander Lucas) before going solo in the early 1970s. Their influences were Black Sabbath, The Groundhogs and Alice Cooper, among others. Uggla's first two glam rock, glam- and art rock-inspired albums ''Om Bobbo Viking'' and ''Livets teater''ˈ did not sell well, the first only about 500 copies in Sweden and ''Livets teater'' even less. But his departure from glam rock with the punk rock, punk and hard rock inspired ''Va ska man ta livet av sig för när man ändå inte får höra snacket efteråt'' gained him much popularity and the album sold about 150,000 copies. Vittring is a song written by Magnus Uggla, and recorded by himself on the 1978 album '' Vittring''. It was also released as a single the same year. Uggla subsequently recorded a version with lyrics in English, titled "Everything You Do". Ramones
The Ramones were an American punk rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens, in 1974. They are often cited as the first true punk rock group. Despite achieving a limited commercial appeal in the United States during their time together, the band saw more success in England and Brazil, and are today seen as highly influential. All of the band members adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", although none of them were biologically related; they were inspired by Paul McCartney, who would check into hotels as "Paul Ramon". "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" is a song by American punk rock band Ramones, released in 1977 through Sire Records. Written by front man and lead vocalist Joey Ramone it appears on the band's third studio album ''Rocket to Russia'' (1977). The song is well known for its early 1960s influence of surf rock and bubblegum pop that influenced Joey; it has since remained one of the band's most popular songs. Steppenwolf (band)
Steppenwolf was an American-Canadian rock band that was prominent from 1968 to 1972. The group was formed in late 1967 in Los Angeles by lead singer John Kay, keyboardist Goldy McJohn, and drummer Jerry Edmonton, all formerly of the Canadian band the Sparrows. Guitarist Michael Monarch and bass guitarist Rushton Moreve were recruited via notices placed in Los Angeles-area record and musical instrument stores. Steppenwolf sold over 25 million records worldwide, released seven gold albums and one platinum album, and had 13 ''Billboard'' Hot 100 singles, of which seven were Top 40 hits, including three top 10 successes: "Born to Be Wild", " Magic Carpet Ride", and " Rock Me". "Born to Be Wild" is a song written by Mars Bonfire and first performed by the band Steppenwolf. The song is often invoked in both popular and counter culture to denote a biker appearance or attitude. It is most notably featured in the 1969 film ''Easy Rider''. Varning på stan is a song written and recorded by Magnus Uggla for the album '' Va ska man ta livet av sig för när man ändå inte får höra snacket efteråt'' in 1977. He also recorded the song with lyrics in English by Colin Griffin, as "Hit the Girls on the Run". The single peaked at number two on the Swedish singles chart. When played on radio, Sveriges Radio were reported to Radionämnden when some listeners considered the song lyrics being too vulgar and sexist.
