Fatorda Stadium
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, locally known as Fatorda Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium situated in Margao, Goa, India. The venue has been used to host both international football as well as International cricket matches.However after the emergence of I-League in 2007 and Indian Super League in 2014, the stadium is turned into football only stadium. It is Goa's only international stadium and has a seating capacity of 19000 with additional 1000 in reserve. It has hosted 9 ODIs in Cricket and hosted various football tournaments including multiple Indian Super League finals and AFC Champions League. The venue was established in 1989 and is owned and operated by the Sports Authority of Goa. The 2023–24 Senior Women's National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy is the 28th edition of the Senior Women's National Football Championship, the premier competition in India for women's teams representing regional and state football associations. Format Thirty teams have been divided into six groups in the qualifying round, which will be played in six different venues across the country. The Final Round of the competition will have a total of 12 teams. Three teams have gained direct entry to the final round - defending champions Tamil Nadu, last season's runners-up Haryana and final round hosts West Bengal. The six group winners and three best runners-up will qualify for the final round which will be held in West Bengal in April 2024. The final round will be held with two groups of six teams each.
