Glory, Glamour And Gold
''Glory, Glamour and Gold'' was Army of Lovers fourth and last studio album of new songs, and was released in 1994. The following albums were compilations, each containing a few new songs. Three singles were released from this album: ''Lit de Parade'', ''Sexual Revolution'', and ''Life is Fantastic''. The most successful single was Lit De Parade, which received a great deal of airplay in Europe. For the first time, the group released all of the album's singles as remixes. ''Hurrah Hurrah Apocalypse'' and ''Lit de Parade'' were produced by ''Vacuum'', aka Alexander Bard and Anders Wollbeck. Critical reception Pan-European magazine ''Music & Media'' wrote, "Ancien regime campiness isn't dead, mesdames et messieurs. ''Music & Media'' was a pan-European magazine for radio, music and entertainment. It was published for the first time in 1984 as ''Eurotipsheet'', but in 1986 it changed name to ''Music & Media''. Jean-Pierre Barda
Michel Jean-Pierre Barda (born 7 March 1965) is a Swedish and Israeli singer, actor, make up artist and hair dresser of French/Algerian Jewish descent. He is one of the founding members of the pop group Army of Lovers. Biography Jean-Pierre Barda was born in Paris, France. His father was of Algerian Jewish origin. When he was seven, he moved to Sweden with his family, settling in Stockholm. Barda immigrated to Israel in 2015. He currently lives in Tel Aviv. He is openly gay since he came out at age 16. His parents kicked him out for his sexuality, and he did not have contact with them for 15 years after. Music and acting career Barda started out working with Alexander Bard as a part of the music group Barbie. Dominika Peczynski (born 20 September 1970) is a Polish- Swedish singer, model and television host. Army of Lovers She joined the Swedish pop music group Army of Lovers in 1992, making her debut with the group with " Hasta Mañana", a cover of the ABBA song. Peczynski already knew the other members of Army of Lovers; Michaela Dornonville de la Cour and Camilla Henemark worked for the same modelling agency as her, she had been at school with Jean-Pierre Barda and had previously had a relationship with Alexander Bard. Reggae () is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1960s. The term also denotes the modern popular music of Jamaica and its diaspora. Vacuum is a Swedish pop band consisting of Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck. They also work as song writers and producers under the same name. As songwriters and producers Wollbeck and Lindblom have worked with artists such as Tarja Turunen, Tina Arena, Garou, Monrose, TVXQ, Keisha Buchanan, f(x) and The Canadian Tenors. ''Les Greatest Hits'' is Army of Lovers fifth album. It is a compilation of the previous albums and three new songs: "Give My Life", "Venus And Mars" and "Requiem".
