CDB are an Australian Contemporary R&B, R&B, Dance music, dance and vocal harmony quartet formed in 1991 with Andrew De Silva, Brad Pinto and his brother Gary Pinto, as well as Danny Williams. CDB is an initialism which stands for Central Dandenong Boys. Their highest charting single was a cover version of Earth, Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove", which peaked at number two on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Singles Chart and number one on the Official New Zealand Music Chart, New Zealand Singles Chart. Paul Gray (songwriter)
Paul Francis Gray (28 November 1963 – 24 April 2018) was an Australian songwriter, pianist, singer and record producer. He met with early success as the lead vocalist for the 1980s funk/pop band Wa Wa Nee. After the disbanding of Wa Wa Nee, Gray concentrated on work as a keyboard player, musical director, songwriter and producer. He worked with many highly successful Australian artists, including Tina Arena, Kate Ceberano and Bardot. Gray appeared in the Countdown Spectacular 2 concert series in Australia between late August and early September 2007 as a performer and musical director. He sang two songs: "Stimulation" and "Sugar Free". In 2012, Gray appeared on an episode of ''Myf Warhurst’s Nice'', singing a duet of " Islands in the Stream" with Warhurst. Gary Pinto is an Australian singer, songwriter and musician and was the lead singer of dance group, CDB. Early life Gary Pinto is an Australian musician of Indian descent. His parents were from Chennai and members of a minority Christian Indian Catholics. The family emigrated to Australia in 1973 where Gary was born. Career 1991–1999 and 2006–present: CDB CBD were formed by Gary Pinto alongside his brother Brad Pinto, Andrew De Silva and Danny Williams. Maurice White (December 19, 1941 – February 4, 2016) was an American singer, musician, songwriter, and record producer.
