Glenn Sorensen (b. 1968) is an artist born in Australia who now lives and works in Sweden. He studied at the City Art Institute, Sydney, Australia between 1986 and 1988 and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, Finland. The Academy of Fine Arts ( fi, Kuvataideakatemia; sv, Bildkonstakademin) in Helsinki, Finland is part of the University of the Arts Helsinki and provides the highest university-level theoretical and practical training in the country in fine arts. Academy The Academy was founded in 1848 by a private foundation called The Art Society of Finland (or Finnish Art Society, or Finnish Art Association) (fi: ''Suomen Taideyhdistys''). Jennifer Higgie is an Australian novelist, screenwriter, art critic and editor of the London-based contemporary arts magazine, ''Frieze''. The Australian band Falling Joys, whose lead singer is her sister Susie Higgie, released the song "Jennifer" in 1991 about her. ''frieze'' is a contemporary art magazine, published eight times a year from London. History ''frieze'' was founded in 1991 by Frieze Art Fair founders Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover with artist Tom Gidley. A Damien Hirst butterfly painting was featured in the first ''frieze'' issue. When ''frieze'' began both Sharp and Slotover served as editors, but ceased direct involvement in editorial decisions in 2001. In 2003, the year that Frieze Art Fair was founded, Sharp and Slotover assumed the roles of Publishing Directors of the magazine, and Directors of the fair.
