''Gl'innamorati'' (''The lovers'') is a comedy play by Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni. It was published in 1759. Synopsis Milan, 18th century. It's a year since Eugenia Ridolfi, heiress of a ruined family, has begun meeting Fulgentius, young and rich middle-class man. They are deeply in love, but the relationship is troubled because of his impulsivity and, especially, her jealousy. Clorinda Corradi (November 27, 1804 – June 29, 1877) was an Italian opera singer and one of the most famous contraltos in history. Life Clorinda Corradi Pantanelli was born in Urbino, Italy. She was the daughter of a nobleman, Filippo Corradi, and countess Vittoria Peroli. Corradi received her musical education in Urbino. Initially, her father enrolled her at the Cappella Musicale di Urbino under the direction of music teacher and composer Filippo Celli. She was obliged to make a living by singing because of the family's economic situation.
