Carpano (cycling Team)
Carpano was an Italian professional cycling team that existed from 1956 to 1966. The team's main sponsor between 1956 and 1964 was the Turin-based wine company Carpano, with Fausto Coppi's bicycle company Coppi a co-sponsor for the first two seasons. When Carpano took sole sponsorship of the team, the team adopted black and white striped jerseys similar to the shirts worn by Turin's Juventus Football Club. For the final two years, 1965 and 1966, Italian food producer Sanson took over the sponsorship. Molteni
Molteni was an Italian professional road bicycle racing team from 1958 until the end of 1976. It won 663 races, many of them earned by its most famous rider, Eddy Merckx. Other riders included Gianni Motta and Marino Basso, who contributed 48 and 34 wins respectively. The Molteni family continues in cycling with sponsorship of Salmilano. Cimatti was an Italian manufacturer of bicycles, motorcycles and mopeds active between 1937 and 1984. In 1937, the Olympic cyclist Marco Cimatti founded a small company in Bologna that originally produced bicycles. In 1950, he changed to mopeds, and in the 1960s, started producing motorcycles, including the and Sport Luxury road and Kaiman Cross racing models with four-speed gearboxes. In 1972–77, he introduced two models, one for motocross with a five-speed gearbox and the other for road.
