Giorgos Bartzokas
Georgios Bartzokas (alternate spellings: Giorgos, George, Mpartzokas) ( el, Γιώργος Μπαρτζώκας, born June 11, 1965) is a Greek former professional basketball player and current head coach for Olympiacos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. He became the first Greek head coach to win the EuroLeague title, after winning the 2012–13 competition with Olympiacos. Playing career Barztokas played professional basketball in the Maroussi club, before some serious knee injuries (torn right knee ACL and later torn left knee ACL) ended his career at age 27. Coaching career Bartzokas began working as a basketball coach at the age of 22, while he was still also playing club basketball. VTB United League
VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Panagiotis Giannakis ( el, Παναγιώτης Γιαννάκης, ; born January 1, 1959), alternatively spelled Panayiotis Yiannakis or Yannakis, is a retired Greek professional basketball player and coach. The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. An anterior cruciate ligament injury occurs when the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is either stretched, partially torn, or completely torn. The most common injury is a complete tear.
