Escola Valls Futbol is a Spanish football club from Valls, Tarragona best known for its women's team, formerly known as CFF Tortosa-Ebre and Gimnà stic Tarragona, which currently plays in Segunda División. Other than it, the club is centered in formative football. History CFF Tortosa-Ebre played in the second tier between 1995 and 2009, mostly ranking in the middle positions. When RFEF decided to expand the Superliga Femenina with male clubs, Gimnà stic Tarragona bought CFF Tortosa and registered in the premier category. The original club was thus disbanded and relocated from Tortosa to Tarragona. In its debut season Gimnà stic established a negative record by losing all 24 games, but it was spared from relegation as there were none. The team attained its first victory, a 3–2 win over UE L'Estartit, in the next season's week 2. However, a 16-games losing streak followed, sinking it in the bottom places. Club Gimnà stic de Tarragona, commonly known as Gimnà stic Tarragona or sometimes just Nà stic, is a Spanish sports club based in Tarragona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Its football team plays in Primera División RFEF – Group 2. The club was founded in 1886 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Spain. It has teams competing in athletics, basketball, tennis, gymnastics, table tennis and futsal, but a football team was not formed until 1914. UE L'Estartit
Unió Esportiva L'Estartit Costa Brava is a Spanish women's football club from L'Estartit, Girona. History Founded in 1992 as the women football section of an homonym football club, it became an independent club following its disappearance. In 2007 the team was promoted to the Superliga by beating SD ReocÃn and CD Rayco in the promotion play-offs. In its debut season L'Estartit ended in the ninth position, just one point short from qualifying for the Copa de la Reina. In 2010 it qualified for the cup, where it was defeated in the first round by Levante UD. In 2012 L'Estartit ended fourth to last and was relegated after five years in top flight. The team was weakened and barely avoided another relegation in 2013. It returned to its previous form in 2014, narrowly missing a spot in the promotion playoffs. The Catalan Football Federation ( ca, Federació Catalana de Futbol, es, Federación Catalana de Fútbol; FCF) is the football association responsible for administering football in Catalonia. It was formed on 11 November 1900 as the Football Associació de Catalunya ( en, Football Association of Catalonia). It was the first football association founded in Spain. The first president was Eduard Alesson and the original members included FC Barcelona, Català SC, Hispania AC and Sociedad Española de Football.
