Pete Gillen
Peter Joseph Gillen (born June 20, 1947) is an American former college basketball head coach of the Division I, Providence Friars and Virginia Cavaliers and is a member of the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame. Gillen is currently a college basketball analyst with the CBS Sports Network. Gillen, Northern Territory
Gillen is a suburb of the town of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia. The suburb is named after "FJ Gillen and Mt Gillen in the MacDonnell Ranges" and ultimately derived from the anthropologist Francis James Gillen, who was the telegraphist and station master at Alice Springs in 1892. The suburb was named in April 2007, with the boundaries approved on 8 March 2007. The Central Australian Aviation Museum is located within the suburb. References

Gillen D'Arcy Wood is Professor of Environmental Humanities and English at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is originally from Australia, the son of H. D'Arcy Wood and a grandson of A. Harold Wood. Cathy Gillen Thacker is an American author of over seventy romance novels. Biography Thacker began writing to occupy herself while she was raising small children. Simon Gillen (May 1, 1855July 6, 1918) was an American politician, farmer, attorney and jurist. He served one term in the Wisconsin State Assembly and held a number of local offices in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. Raymond Arthur Gillen (May 12, 1959 – December 1, 1993) was an American rock singer. He is best known for his work with Badlands, in addition to his stint with Black Sabbath in the mid-1980s and recording most of the vocals on Phenomena's ''Dream Runner'' album. Early life Gillen was born on May 12, 1959, in New York, but was raised in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. He was an only child and started singing while in high school. Peter Paul Gillen
Peter Paul Gillen (7 July 1858 – 22 September 1896) was a storekeeper and politician and an activist for Aboriginal rights within Australia in the colonial days of South Australia. He studied, recorded and documented many ancient Aboriginal ceremonies for educational purposes, and was respected by the Aboriginal communities of Australia. He was also Commissioner of Crown Lands from 1892 to 1896, when he died in office. Ann Gillen
Ann Gillen is an American sculptor. Background Gillen's sculpture is constructed, uses color, and suggests the human body in motion. She works with plywood, metal, stone, cardboard and solar panels—in 1990 used to power two stainless steel fountains she designed for a show at the Elaine Benson Gallery in Bridgehampton, Long Island. In 1960, two years after graduating from Pratt Institute, Gillen had her first solo exhibition at the E. Weyhe Gallery in Manhattan, renowned for showing prints. All of Gillen's 30 public, private and corporate commissions were completed and installed on time and within their budgets. These commissions can be found in every borough of New York City save Staten Island.
