The University of Santo Tomas (also known as UST and officially as the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, Manila) is a private, Catholic research university in Manila, Philippines. Philippine Super Liga
The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception. 2013 PSL Grand Prix Conference
The 2013 PSL Grand Prix was the second tournament of the Philippine Super Liga for its maiden season. It was held from November 10, 2013 to December 14, 2013. For this conference (women's), each team was allowed to include two import players in the line up. The TMS-Philippine Army Lady Troopers clinched the women's championship, thereby winning all two conferences of the 2013 PSL season. A men's division was also introduced with the PLDT myDSL Speed Boosters emerging as the first men's champions. 2015 PSL Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup
The 2015 PLDT Home Ultera PSL Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup was the inaugural beach volleyball tournament of the Philippine Super Liga and the second tournament for its third season. The conference began on July 18, 2015 and ended on August 8, 2015 at the newly opened The Sands, SM By The Bay (SM Mall of Asia). The games were held for four consecutive Saturdays. The 2013 PSL Season was the maiden season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL), the first professional volleyball league in the Philippines. The PSL began as a women's league during its inaugural tournament, the Invitational conference. A men's division was added for the succeeding tournament, the Grand Prix conference. The TMS-Philippine Army Lady Troopers were the first PSL champions, winning both tournaments held during the season. 2015 PSL Season
The 2015 PSL season is the third season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). There were two indoor conferences for the season – the All-Filipino, and the Grand Prix. It staged its first beach volleyball tournament, the Challenge Cup, for the women's and men's divisions. Developments * The PSL is now sanctioned under the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the newest governing body for volleyball in the Philippines under the leadership of POC 1st Vice President Joey Romasanta, aside for being recognized by the AVC and the FIVB. Filipino Premier League
The Filipino Premier League was the top-level football league of the Philippines, operating under the country's football governing body, the Philippine Football Federation. The league was announced on August 2, 2008, and started on September 21, 2008. It was replaced by the United Football League in 2009. The league was not fully professional. The only 2008–2009 season was supposed to have three regional tournaments, one each in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao which was supposed to be followed by the Filipino Premier League National Championships to be held in late 2009.
