Gian Luca Perici (born September 17, 1964) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who works in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. Biography Gian Luca Perici was born on 17 September 1964 in Bassano del Grappa, Province of Vicenza, Vicenza, Italy. He was ordained a priest for the Roman Catholic Suburbicarian Diocese of Velletri–Segni, Diocese of Velletri–Segni on 21 September 1991. Diplomatic career Perici entered the Holy See Diplomatic Service on 1 July 2001. Apostolic Nunciature To The Nordic Countries
The Holy See established what has evolved into its Apostolic Nunciature to the Nordic Countries on 16 March 1960 under the title Apostolic Delegation to Scandinavia with responsibility for representing the interests of the pope and the Catholic Church in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. It was originally located in Vedbæk, Denmark; since 2002 its office has been in Djursholm, Sweden, a suburb of Stockholm.
