''Ghost'' is the 13th album by English folk music, folk singer Kate Rusby, released in August 2014. Critical reception ''Ghost'' received generally positive reviews from music critics. Writing for ''The Daily Telegraph'', Martin Chilton stated that the album has a "pleasing freshness", partly down to the blending of Stevie Iveson's electric guitar with more traditional Folk music, folk instrumentation. ''Uncut (magazine), Uncut's'' Neil Spencer said that, while the album gives the listener the impression they have heard much of ''Ghost'' before, Rusby's "many fans won't mind". Kate Anna Rusby (born 4 December 1973) is an English English folk music, folk singer-songwriter from Penistone, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. Sometimes called the "Barnsley Nightingale", she has headlined various British folk festivals, and is one of the best known contemporary English folk singers. Damien O'Kane
Damien O'Kane (born 1 September 1978) is an Irish musician, born in Coleraine. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife, musician Kate Rusby, and their two daughters. Career O'Kane graduated from Newcastle University in 2005 and has been performing ever since. He has performed with Flook and also in a duo with Shona Kipling. Damien is now pursuing his own solo career and also tours with Kate Rusby. His solo work features songs from his native Northern Ireland as well as his trademark instrumentals. ''20'' is a studio album by English folk musician Kate Rusby, released on 22 October 2012 on Pure Records. Produced by Rusby and her husband Damien O'Kane, the album celebrates Rusby's twentieth year as a recording artist, and features re-recordings of previously released tracks each of which features guest vocals from the likes of Nic Jones, Paul Weller, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Eddi Reader, Sarah Jarosz and others. A similar album, '' 10'', was released in 2002. Upon its release, the album entered the UK Album Chart at #22.
