Georgi Iliev (footballer, Born 1981)
Georgi Iliev ( bg, Георги Илиев; 5 September 1981) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 2000 to 2019, notably for Cherno More Varna, where he made over 350 appearances for the club in all competitions. Iliev is the second highest scorer for Cherno More in the Bulgarian top league with 71 goals. His playing career included also spells at Lokomotiv Plovdiv and CSKA Sofia. Iliev holds the record for the highest number of appearances in the Bulgarian top league, with 461 – 318 for Cherno More, 86 for Lokomotiv and 57 for CSKA. Aleksandar Aleksandrov ( bg, Александър Александров; born 19 January 1975 in Plovdiv) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Aleksandrov was honoured as Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 1999 and Footballer of the Year of Varna for 2007 and for 2008. The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles.
