Arlington Transit (ART) is a bus Public transport, transit system that operates in Arlington County, Virginia, and is managed by the county government. Shirlington is an unincorporated urban area, officially called an "urban village", in the southern part of Arlington County, Virginia, United States, adjacent to the Fairlington area. The word "Shirlington" is a combination of "Shirley" (from the Shirley Highway or Interstate 395) and "Arlington". Shirlington is billed as "Arlington’s Arts and Entertainment District" and is a largely mixed-use development based on New Urbanist principles. The NABI LFW was a line of low-floor transit buses available in 30' rigid, 35' rigid, 40' rigid, and 60' articulated lengths manufactured by North American Bus Industries (NABI) between 1997 and 2015. Potomac Yard is a neighborhood in Northern Virginia that straddles southeastern Arlington County and northeastern Alexandria, Virginia, located principally in the area between U.S. Route 1 and the Washington Metro Blue Line / Yellow Line tracks (or the George Washington Memorial Parkway, depending on the definition used). Mark Center Building
The Mark Center Building is a United States military installation and office building in Alexandria, Virginia. It is operated by the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) of the United States Department of Defense (DoD), and provides office space for several other DoD agencies. The name of the site refers to the "Mark Center" property development in which it is located, at the intersection of Seminary Road and Beauregard Street at the Interstate 395 interchange. Fairlington is an unincorporated neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia, United States, located adjacent to Shirlington in the southernmost part of the county on the boundary with the City of Alexandria. Interstate 395 (I-395) in Washington, D.C., and Virginia is a spur route of I-95 that begins at an interchange with I-95 in Springfield and ends at an interchange with U.S. Route 50 () in northwest Washington, D.C. It passes underneath the National Mall near the U.S. Capitol and ends at a junction with US 50 at New York Avenue, roughly north of the 3rd Street Tunnel.
