Gennady Laguta
Hennadiy Mykolayovych Lahuta (, born 10 August 1974) is a Ukrainian politician serving as the governor of Kherson Oblast since 26 October 2021. Lahuta was removed from office by the Russian military on 26 April 2022 during the Russian occupation of Kherson Oblast, but continues to be supported by the government of Ukraine as governor. He was removed from office by Ukrainian government on 9 July, replacing by Dmytro Butriy Dmytro ( uk, Дмитро́, Dmytró, ) is a Ukrainian name, derived from the Greek Demetrios. Nicknames of the name Dmytro include: Dima, Dimochka, Dimula, Dimusha, Dimusya, Metro (particularly in Canada), Mitya, Mitenka, Mityai, Mityaychik, Mityus .... Berdiansk
Berdiansk or Berdyansk ( uk, Бердя́нськ, translit=Berdiansk, ; russian: Бердя́нск, translit=Berdyansk ) is a port city in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast (Oblast, province) in south-eastern Ukraine. It is on the northern coast of the Sea of Azov, which is the northern extension of the Black Sea. It serves as an administrative center of Berdiansk Raion (district), though it does not belong to the raion. The city is named after the Berda River forming the Berdianska Spit at the foot of which it is located. Ihor Viktorovych Kolykhaiev ( uk, Ігор Вікторович Колихаєв; born on 8 May 1971) is a Ukrainian politician who has served as mayor of Kherson since the 2020 Ukrainian local elections. Kolykhaiev is former People's Deputy of Ukraine, elected in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election. Since 28 June 2022, his whereabouts are unknown after being abducted by Russian agents amidst the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine and the occupation of Kherson. Personal life Ihor Kolykhaiev was born on 8 May 1971, in Kherson. His mother worked as a shop assistant, and his father as a lathe operator at the enterprise. After school graduation, he entered A. The Russian occupation of Kherson Oblast is an ongoing military occupation of Ukraine's Kherson Oblast by Russian forces that began on 2March 2022 during the Russian invasion of Ukraine as part of the southern Ukraine campaign. The Russian-installed occupation regime was called the "Kherson military-civilian administration". Its name was changed to "Kherson Oblast" after the Russian annexation. Russia captured the city of Kherson 2 March 2022, which is the capital city of the oblast and is therefore strategically important.
