Genevieve G. Mina (born 1996) is an American politician serving as a member of the Alaska House of Representatives for the 19th district. Elected in November 2022, she assumed office on January 17, 2023. Early life and education Mina was born and raised in Alaska, the daughter of immigrants from the Philippines. She attended East Anchorage High School and studied political science and biology at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Career Mina began working as a legislative intern in the Alaska Legislature in 2017. She later worked in the offices of Ivy Spohnholz and Eric Croft. Eric Croft
Eric Chancy Croft (born November 6, 1964) is an American attorney and politician who represented Anchorage's West district on the Anchorage Assembly from 2016 to 2019. From 1997 to 2006, Croft served as a member of the Alaska House of Representatives for District 15, representing Spenard, Anchorage. He was also a candidate in the 2006 Alaska gubernatorial election. He received 23.1% of the vote, losing to 68.6% achieved by former governor Tony Knowles. Croft served as Anchorage's school board president from 2013 to 2016. In April 2016, he was elected to the Anchorage Assembly, replacing Ernie Hall, who decided not to run for reelection. Ivy Spohnholz (born January 17, 1973) is a Democratic member of the Alaska House of Representatives, serving the 16th district. She has served since March 10, 2016, after being appointed by Governor Bill Walker to fill the vacancy caused by the death of longtime Representative Max Gruenberg on February 14, 2016.
