Geary County (county code GE) is a County (United States), county located in the U.S. state of Kansas. As of the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census, the county population was 36,739. Its county seat and most populous city is Junction City, Kansas, Junction City. The county is named in honor of Governor of Kansas, Governor John W. Geary. Treaty Of Fontainebleau (1762)
The Treaty of Fontainebleau was a secret agreement of 1762 in which the Kingdom of France ceded Louisiana to Spain. The treaty followed the last battle in the French and Indian War in North America, the Battle of Signal Hill in September 1762, which confirmed British control of Canada. In Europe, the associated Seven Years' War continued to rage.
