Gasoline (Theory Of A Deadman Album)
''Gasoline'' is the second studio album released by Theory of a Deadman on March 29, 2005. The album features four songs used in the video game ''Fahrenheit'' (also known as ''Indigo Prophecy''), "Santa Monica", "No Surprise", "Say Goodbye" and "No Way Out". The album was first released in Canada by 604 Records, and was later released in the U.S. by Roadrunner Records. The original 604 Records release of the album is fully unedited, however the Roadrunner version released in the U.S. contains edited versions of "No Surprise" and "Me & My Girl", making this the band's only album not to carry a "Parental Advisory" sticker. The album was released to mixed reviews from critics. ''Fahrenheit'' (known as ''Indigo Prophecy'' in North America) is an action-adventure game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Atari for Microsoft Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 in September 2005. The plot follows Lucas Kane, a man who commits murder while supernaturally possessed, and two police detectives investigating the case. Gameplay involves the player in making decisions to alter the narrative. Writer and director David Cage completed the 2,000-page script in one year. Quantic Dream, then employing almost eighty people, took two years to develop the game. ''Fahrenheit'' was chiefly praised for the story, characters, voice acting, and music, but criticised for the ending and graphics. It sold over one million copies. Daniel Adair
Daniel Patrick Adair (born February 19, 1975, in Vancouver) is a Canadian drummer. He is best known for his work with Nickelback and his previous work with 3 Doors Down. He also works with the Canadian band Suspect and the instrumental fusion band Martone. Adair often uses a quote coined by Gary Player to describe his career: "The harder you work, the luckier you get." Biography Adair auditioned for guitarist David Martone, a Berklee College of Music graduate, who was starting an instrumental fusion band. This band, named Martone, recorded its first album in 1999. "What's Your Name" is a rock song by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the opening track on their album '' Street Survivors''. It peaked at No. 13 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and No. 6 in Canada. Background Lynyrd Skynyrd lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Gary Rossington wrote "What's Your Name" while in Miami with producer Tom Dowd and Booker T. & the M.G.'s guitarist Steve Cropper.
