Garhi Harsaru
Garhi Harsaru is a town and railway station in Gurugram district of Haryana state in India. It lies on the road from Gurugram city to Pataudi town. Its postal code (PIN) is 122505. According to the Census India 2011, it has a population of about 7894 persons of which 4216 are males while 3678 are females living in around 1539 households. History ''Garhi'' is the Hindi word for ''fortress''. Garhi Harsaru is named after Ruler Harsh Dev Singh, one of the 21 sons of Raja Sangat Singh Chauhan ( Ruler of Mandhan near Alwar) who set himself up here in 1360 Vikram Samvat. Raja Sangat was the great-grandson of Chahir Deo, brother of famous King Prithviraj Chauhan (See Page 64 of this reference). Delhi Junction Railway Station
Delhi Junction railway station is the oldest railway station in Old Delhi, Delhi, India. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India in terms of frequency. Farrukhnagar is a town and municipality in Gurugram district of Haryana, India. It is one of the four administrative blocks of Gurugram district situated from Gurugram and shares its border with Jhajjar district. It is part of the Ahirwal region. Established in 1732 by Faujdar Khan, the first Nawab of Farrukhnagar and a governor of the Mughal Emperor Farrukhsiyar, Farrukhnagar flourished due to its salt trade until the late 19th century, and was abandoned in the early 20th century, during the British Raj. Jhajjar is a town in Jhajjar district in the Indian state of Haryana. The city is situated on the road connecting Rewari to Rohtak (NH-352), Loharu to Meerut (NH334B), Charkhi Dadri to Delhi and Gurgaon to Bhiwani. Jhajjar is located west of Delhi. Garhi Harsaru Junction railway station is a small railway station in Gurgaon district, Haryana, India. Its code is GHH. It serves Garhi Harsaru town. The station consists of two platforms. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. Garhi Harsaru is a main junction in Gurgaon district due to its proximity to Manesar. A branch line towards Farrukhnagar was laid in 1901 on Rajputana–Malwa Railway.
