Galaxy's Edge
''Star Wars'': Galaxy's Edge is a themed area inspired by the ''Star Wars'' franchise, located in Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It encompasses at each park, and is set in the village of Black Spire Outpost, on the remote frontier planet of Batuu, featuring attractions, shops, restaurants and entertainment. The lands were announced on August 15, 2015, and construction at both parks began on April 14, 2016. The Disneyland version opened May 31, 2019, and Disney's Hollywood Studios' version opened August 29, 2019. Walt Disney Imagineering executive Scott Trowbridge supervised development and construction at both parks. The ''Millennium Falcon'' is a fictional starship in the ''Star Wars'' franchise. ''Thrawn: Alliances'' is a 2018 ''Star Wars'' novel by Timothy Zahn, published on July 24, 2018 by Del Rey Books. It continues the chronicles of Grand Admiral Thrawn, a character that Zahn originated in his ''Heir to the Empire'' trilogy published in 1991–1993. It is the sequel to Zahn's '' Star Wars: Thrawn'' novel, the second installment of the newer ''Thrawn'' trilogy, and the ninth ''Thrawn'' novel overall. Robert Alan Chapek (born 1960) is an American media executive who was the chief executive officer (CEO) of The Walt Disney Company from 2020 to 2022. The ''Star Wars'' sequel trilogy is the third trilogy of the main ''Star Wars'' franchise, an American space opera created by George Lucas.
