Gabriela Pérez Del Solar
Gabriela "Gaby" Lourdes Pérez del Solar Cuculiza (born July 10, 1968) is a retired Peruvian volleyball player and a politician and former Congresswoman of the Christian People's Party. Sports career Perez del Solar began to play volleyball at 14 years old. Her 1.94 m height helped her to become an internationally respected blocker. She ranked in fourth place in the 1984 Summer Olympics. She began to show her abilities for the sport in the 1985 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup in Japan, and at just 17 years old was chosen as the best blocker of the tournament and ranked in fifth place, she also won the gold medal in the 1985 South American Championship. She won the 1986 FIVB World Championship bronze medal and silver in the 1987 Pan American Games. She won the gold medal in the 1987 South American Championship and 1987 Japan Cup, where she was awarded Best Spiker. Ica, Peru
Ica () (Quechua: ''Ika'') is a city and the capital of the Department of Ica in southern Peru. While the area was long inhabited by varying cultures of indigenous peoples, the Spanish ''conquistador'' Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera claimed its founding in 1563. As of the 2017 census, it had a population of over 282,407. The city suffered extensive damage and loss of life during the 2007 Peru earthquake. 2011 Peruvian General Election
General elections were held in Peru on 10 April 2011 to elect the President, the Vice Presidents, 130 members of Congress and five members of the Andean Parliament. National Unity ( es, Unidad Nacional, UN) was a Peruvian center-right, mainly a Christian democratic electoral alliance. History National Unity was founded in 2000 by Lourdes Flores Nano and was considered Peru's third largest party. Lourdes Celmira Rosario Flores Nano (born October 7, 1959) is a Peruvian lawyer and politician who served as a councilwoman of Lima, Deputy from Lima from 1990 to 1992, Democratic Constituent Congresswoman from 1992 to 1995, Congresswoman from 1995 to 2000, and the Christian People's Party candidate for President of Peru in the 2001 and 2006 elections in which she ran under the National Unity.
