Gabriel Fernández (born 3 April 1992) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defender for Club Atlético Güemes. Career Central Córdoba became Fernández's first senior club in 2013. After making his senior debut against Central Norte on 29 March, Fernández featured in four further fixtures during 2012–13 as the club were eliminated from the promotion play-offs by Libertad. He remained for one more Torneo Argentino A season, prior to departing on 21 July 2014 to fellow tier three team San Lorenzo. His opening goal arrived three months later during a draw with Estudiantes, which was followed by a brace against Américo Tesorieri weeks later on 26 October. January 2015 saw Fernández resign for Central Córdoba; newly promoted to Primera B Nacional. La Banda
La Banda is a city in the province of Santiago del Estero, Argentina. It has about 95,000 inhabitants as per the , making it the second largest in the province. It is the head town of the Banda Department. The Torneo Federal A (in English "Federal A Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. The 2014 season was the first season of the Torneo Federal A, third division professional of football in Argentina. For this season, AFA decided to change the structure in the Argentine football league system, so 21 teams were invited by the ''Consejo Federal'' and 17 accepted the invitation and exceptionally 7 teams were promoted to the next season of Primera B Nacional and there were no relegations for this season. The 2013–14 season, was the nineteenth Torneo Argentino A season since it became part of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition.
