''G-Host'' is the ninth studio album by American rapper Styles P. The album was released on May 4, 2018, by Phantom Entertainment, New Music Cartel and Fontana Distribution. The album features guest appearances from Nino Man, Dyce Payne, Whispers, and Oswin Benjamin. Background Styles first announced the album on April 19, 2018, with the release of a single, ''Heat Of The Night'' featuring Kody through SoundCloud. David R. Styles (born November 28, 1974), better known by his stage name Styles P (also known mononymously as Styles), is an American rapper, best known as a member of hip hop group the Lox, alongside childhood friends Sheek Louch and Jadakiss. Along with the other members of the Lox, he is a founder of D-Block Records and was also a part of the Ruff Ryders Entertainment collective. In addition, he has released multiple albums and mixtapes as a solo MC. In 2002, he released his debut solo album '' A Gangster and a Gentleman'', which contained the hit single " Good Times". Fontana Distribution
Fontana Distribution was a division of San Francisco-based Isolation Network (now owned by the Virgin Music Group unit of the Universal Music Group since 2019). A minority stake of the company was owned by Universal Music until Ingrooves, INgrooves acquired Fontana Distribution from UMG in 2012 to form INgrooves Fontana. Marc Shemer, (born November 5, 1977), better known by his stage name Scram Jones, is a producer, DJ and rapper from New Rochelle, New York.
