Fuxing Road (Taipei)
Fuxing Road (; also called 11th Ave.) is a major arterial in Taipei connecting the Daan District and the National Taiwan University in the south with the Zhongzheng, Zhongshan, and Songshan districts around the northern terminus. Most of the Taipei Metro's Wenshan Line runs above Fuxing Road, with provisions along the road for the line's extension to Neihu. In November 2006, Taipei City opened up a new section of Fuxing Road between Minzu E. Road and the Dazhi Bridge, providing people a new connection between Dazhi and central Taipei without having to drive around Songshan Airport. The new connection is a four-lane tunnel travelling under Songshan Airport and is restricted to motorized vehicles only. Fuxing Road is divided into north and south sections by Zhongxiao E. Neihu
Neihu District is a district of Taipei City, Taiwan. Neihu means "inner lake." The older name originates from the Ketagalan word ''Tayour'' (transliterated by the Dutch as ''Cattajo''), meaning woman's head ornament. Many mountainous roads and paths, which are ideal for hiking, connect Neihu with the neighboring Shilin District and Yangmingshan National Park. The Tri-Service General Hospital, which is a teaching hospital of the National Defense Medical Center, is also in Neihu. The Wuchih Mountain Military Cemetery borders Neihu. Zhongxiao Road
Zhongxiao Road (, also called 4th Blvd. or Chunghsiao Road) is a major arterial boulevard that is part of provincial highway 5 in Taipei, Taiwan, connecting the Zhongzheng district in the west with the Daan, Songshan, Xinyi, and Nangang districts in the east. Zhongxiao Road is known as a popular shopping and entertainment area, with many large department stores and shopping malls located along most of the entire stretch. About half of the Nangang Line of the Taipei Metro runs under the road, with stations located at major intersections along the road, which accounts for the significant pedestrian traffic along the road. The majority of the road is 8-10 lanes wide with a median dividing the road. Nanjing Road (; also called 7th Blvd) is a major arterial in Taipei, Taiwan, connecting the Datong district in the west with the Zhongshan and Songshan districts in the east. Nanjing Road is known for heavy traffic channeling from the MacAuthur Bridge into central Taipei. There are bus lanes and platforms in the middle of the roadway to facilitate transit on the roadway. The Wenhu or Brown line (code BR) is a metro line in Taipei operated by Taipei Metro, named after the districts it connects: Wenshan and Neihu. It is an automated medium-capacity rubber-tyred metro line and is long, serving a total of 24 stations located in 7 districts in Taipei, of which 22 are elevated and 2 underground.
