Fuxing Road, Beijing
Fuxing Road () is a road in western Beijing, China, forming part of the extended Chang'an Avenue. The entire road lies within the confines of Haidian District. It is believed to run from Gongzhufen on the West 3rd Ring Road through to the West 5th Ring Road; however, maps indicate its path from Muxidi Bridge (just before the West 3rd Ring Road) to Yuquanlu (just after the West 4th Ring Road). The Wukesong Indoor Stadium, a venue for the 2008 Summer Olympics, runs alongside the road. The venue has since then been renamed the "MasterCard Center". To the west of Fuxing Road is Shijingshan Road, while to the east of Fuxing Road is Fuxingmen Outer Street. Haidian District () is a district of the municipality of Beijing. Gongzhufen
Gongzhufen () is a major traffic and public transportation hub in the Haidian District of western Beijing, China. The name literally means "Tomb of the Princess". Gongzhufen lies at the intersection of the 3rd Ring Road and Fuxing Road. Prior to the mid-1990s, there was a traffic circle at the intersection. Today, traffic is handled by a three-level cloverleaf interchange. The area has several shopping centers, a bus terminal from which buses 32, 33, 64, 94, 370, 437, and 451 start, and the Gongzhufen Subway Station, which is served by Lines 1 and 10 of the Beijing Subway. 3rd Ring Road (Beijing)
The 3rd Ring Road () is a -long city ring road that encircles the city center of Beijing. When Beijing first became the capital of the People's Republic of China, the road existed only in segments encircling the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the city. At the time, its segments were known as Beihuan (North Ring), Donghuan (East Ring), and Nanhuan (South Ring), respectively. The 3rd Ring Road was finally finished in 1994 with the completion of the western segment. There are 52 flyovers, including Sanyuanqiao, which links it to the Airport Expressway. 5th Ring Road
Beijing's 5th Ring Road (, China Road Numbering: S50 (Beijing) is a ring road encircling the city about away from the city centre. It takes the form of an expressway and is in length. Being a ring road, it has no natural start or end point, although the "0 km" mark is found near the northeastern stretch at Laiguangying, at the intersection with the Jingcheng Expressway. The expressway ring road is a provincial-level road in Beijing municipality. All of Beijing's expressways, except for the Tongyan Expressway, are interlinked with the 5th Ring Road. The 4th Ring Road () is a controlled-access expressway ring road in Beijing, China which runs around the city, with a radius of approximately from city centre. The total length of the road is . Wukesong Indoor Stadium
The Wukesong Arena (), also known as the Cadillac Arena () for sponsorship purposes, is a multipurpose indoor arena in Beijing. It was originally built for the 2008 Summer Olympics basketball preliminaries and finals. Ground was broken on 29 March 2005 and construction was completed on 11 January 2008. The stadium has a capacity of 19,000 and covers an area of 63,000 square metres. It includes a modern, flexible ice hockey rink designed and produced by Finnish rink manufacturer Vepe Oy in November 2016. Fuxingmen Outer Street
Fuxingmen Outer Street () is a major street in urban Beijing. It forms part of the extended Chang'an Avenue. It starts at Fuxing Road in the west and ends at Fuxingmen Bridge in the east. It is a major commercial hub of Beijing, dwarfed only by its more eastern counterparts -- Xidan and Wangfujing. The Chang'an Market lies in this location. Until 2003, the nationwide committee building of the All-China National Trade Union sat along the street for 50 years until it was detonated and demolished.
