Furnes Fotball
Furnes Fotball is a Norwegian association football club from Ringsaker, Hedmark. The Nordic skiing club Furnes SF was founded on 24 January 1892. A football section was added to that club on 4 August 1932. In 1945 ''Furnes SF'' merged with the AIF club ''Furnes AIL'' to form Furnes IL. Handball was added as a sport in 1946, and at that time the club also had sections for athletics and orienteering. Later, the different sport codes were demerged, forming Furnes Fotball, Furnes Håndball and reinvigorating Furnes SF. Furnes Fotball counts 1932 as its foundation year. The three clubs' logos are variations of the old Furnes SF logo. The men's football team plays in the 4. divisjon, the fifth tier of Norwegian football. Ringsaker
is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Hedemarken. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Brumunddal. Other settlements in Ringsaker include the town of Moelv and the villages of Furnes, Kvål, Kylstad, Mesnali, Nydal, Rudshøgda, Stavsjø, Tingnes, and Byflaten. The municipality is the 77th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Ringsaker is the 30th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 35,073. Hedmark
Hedmark () was a county in Norway before 1 January 2020, bordering Trøndelag to the north, Oppland to the west, Akershus to the south, and Sweden to the east. The county administration is in Hamar. Furnes Skiløperforening is a Norwegian skiing club from Ringsaker, Hedmark. The club was founded on 24 January 1892.
